What is BAMF Tracker? A self-hosted CRM and job tracker for solar and electrical services companies. It runs as an installable web app (PWA) in any modern browser, on phone, tablet, or desktop.

Where is my data stored? On the server you run the app on (for example, an on-site NAS), in a local database, plus a cached copy in your browser for offline use. The publisher does not host or receive your data.

Does it work offline? Yes. The app caches your data locally and queues changes while you're offline, then syncs automatically when you reconnect.

Do I need any third-party accounts? No. The core app works on its own. Optional integrations (Stripe, Google Maps/Gmail/Sign-In, Discord, EG4 Monitor, OpenSolar, AI summaries) are off until you configure them.

How do I take payments? Connect Stripe in settings to send invoices and accept card payments. Without Stripe, you can still record manual/offline payments.

Why does it ask for camera access? Only to scan QR/barcodes on solar dataloggers and equipment during onboarding. You can decline; the rest of the app still works, and you can enter serials manually.

Can customers use it without an account? Yes. Customers view quotes, sign documents, and pay through secure, login-free links you send them. They don't need an account.

I forgot my password. Ask an admin on your instance to reset it. Admins manage user accounts in the app's settings.

Is it on the App Store or Google Play? No. It's a self-hosted web app you install from the browser ("Add to Home Screen"/"Install").
